Hundreds of whanau from throughout the North and South Island attended our hui-a-rohe series over the past few weeks.

The hui gave iwi the opportunity to come together and korero about how we can tautoko each other through the maunga negotiations process.

Whanau were given a recap on events, updates on how negotiations are progressing, and feedback from other uri who had attended the hui-a-rohe, including concerns ownership and exclusive rights of Taranaki maunga, as well as the repealing of the Egmont Vesting Act 1978.

Now that the hui-a-rohe have concluded, it is important that all uri take the opportunity to share their views as feedback will contribute to how the negotiations are progressed and shape the redress.

Thank you to all those who took the time to attend the hui and have already given feedback to the team.

If there is any further korero you want to share please email
